RPD Psychology
In Autumn 2019, I had the pleasure of working with Roger Duncliffe on his personal website rpdpsychology.co.uk. The project involved creating a modern and professional website to showcase Roger’s work as a Clinical Psychologist.
Roger already had a Wix website. I advised him on design, user experience, and search engine optimization improvements. Initially, Roger contacted me and I answered all of his questions and set his expectations for working with me regularly to improve the website. I started by assessing the existing website and conducting research into his competition. After conducting an audit of the SEO, I devised a strategy to better use the keywords on the website by restructuring the site.
I consulted on the design and content of the pages from the perspective of the user experience. The design of Roger’s website was made cleaner and more in line with a typical therapist’s website with my help. I also encouraged Roger to develop the length of the pages and add calls to action at the top and the bottom of each page. As a professional designer, I was able to make small improvements to a client’s own website, greatly improving the website.
Once the website was relaunched, I set up a Google My Business listing for the business to ensure that it would show up in local search results. I also advised him and helped him promote his website across the web, therapist profiles, and to create SEO backlinks.
Overall, Roger was extremely pleased with the end result and I’m proud to have been able to help him reach his goals and make a website that is fully optimised for search engines and has an attractive, modern design.
